Ecthyma gangrenosum
- caused by
Pseudomonas aeruginosa
- indurated plaque evolving into hemorrhagic bulla or pustule that sloughs, resulting in eschar formation; erythematous halo; most common in axillary, groin, perianal regions
- usually affects neutropenic patients
